I know it’s a scary time right now and a lot of us are losing rights every time we blink. Some states were definitely wanting for this moment and were ready to roll out their new laws so if youβre anything like me you are probably panicking right now. I totally get it! And, though I canβt ease your worries, maybe I can help you feel like you have a little more control. Things that make us feel a little more in control, like where to donate or where to look for resources.
Donations:
Always go with smaller more grassroots first when thinking of donating. Though Planned Parenthood is great and all, they will be getting a lot more funding right now as they are very well known. But, I encouraging you to consider donating to places like Elevated Access or AbortionFunds.org instead. I know my fundraiser funds will also be going to one of these.
We are actually donating 50% of our profits from our “Safe Access” sticker to AbortionFunds.org.
Also, the design is very intentional. This is a human rights issue and that includes the LGBTQ+ community. Abortion rights are important for all. Safe access is important.

General Tips:
For your personal reproductive safety a few tips and steps you might want to consider taking. Delete all your menstrual apps. Buy related items or medications with cash, and skip using things like ordering through Amazon.
Protesting! This is actually a great post, watch it. But at least do the basics, write phone numbers in hidden spots. Wear a mask, covid is still a thing too. Cover tattoos or any features if you are worried about being recognized. Don’t touch tear gas cans without heat-resistant gloves. Be safe! Make sure someone trusted knows where you are just in case.
Know your Google/Social Media history. Well, all data is essentially up for grabs. Even offering to go “camping” is already known to the algorithm. You can test it yourself, but your ads will definitely show you abortion resources over actual camping stuff. So please, think before posting. And yes, I know my digital footprint is also not great right now.
